There will be many a nickname for (and many eyes drawn towards) the campaign for the European Parliament election in the North-West Constituency.

This video was recently loaded on the Facebook Page of Jim Higgins, Fine Gael’s MEP for the region.

The cartoon is two years old and was created by the European Movement in the UK and I think it’s quite imaginative. But one can’t help ‘recognising’ the man in the blue suit in the middle asking the question ‘What has Europe Ever Done for us?’

Tell me you didn’t think of the Chairman? – who of course is also running for the European Parliament in the consitutency and whom Jim has been going for goodo and the campaign has not really begun!
