Blogs on the Radio, making money and providing history

  • First of all Happy Blogday (the Blogday blog is down or just overstretched at the moment ironically – but you will find out more about it from Irish Blogday ambassador Gingerpixel.) I heard an interview about it on Radio 5’s Blogs and Pods the other morning – I will post about my five new and notable blogs later today. Here’s my post on it last year. Must see if all the blogs I picked are still active, I still visit two of them and as food blogs I’d say that they are more likely than most to be in for the long haul.
  • Crooks and Liars is republishing interviews/video from last years coverage of Hurricane Katrina. Scary stuff including Ted Koppel interviewing Michael Brown, the former head of FEMA who is now going round TV networks criticising FEMA and the government’s response.
