It’s January so it must be consumer complaint and compliment month. Before reading Damien’s post about consumer opinion blogging etc. I was thinking this afternoon about blogging my experience with an office furniture company.

Officechairs.ie was my port of call when looking for a specialist 24 hour chair with ergonomic how’s your mother features. No I am not planning on sleeping in it but I need something that I can get in and out of with ease due to the arthritis etc.

John Gorman took my call and booked an appointment for me to visit their showroom (they could have come to me either). On the day of my visit, I tried out the chair and was happy with it, he dropped me back to my temporary office – great move for this non driver stuck out in the middle of a Glasnevin housing estate. I later ordered other furniture for the office with them when I got the keys to the new place.
Today John, his sales executive Ian, and a delivery man arrived out to my office, assembled everything, offered to set up the IT systems for me (I declined – the nerd in me wants that pleasure), they changed everything around to suit me and the use of my office space and wished me luck. I have a week to try out the chair and see if I like it. I got a discount without asking and the whole experience was painfree and an absolute pleasure.
