Happy weekend, we are into day 4 of the official campaign and we’ve had 2 debates (ok the Late Late was fairly debate less but intense enough – they are all terrified of challenging each other!) and a load of interviews.

Seán Gallagher has made an appeal for online support and canvassing. He may be the ‘grower’ in this campaign.

By now you will have seen many versions of Mary Davis posters, interestingly enough the campaign itself decided to blog about some of them.

Mary was in Belfast on Thursday. She spoke on the death of Gusty Spence and also mentioned Martin McGuinness and hopes he’ll stay on as Deputy First Minister. (Anyone else noticing she’s doing that Robinson hand thing?)

During a press conference last night after the Late Late Show David Norris mentioned being mobbed in the Liberties. The Irish Times was there to catch it. (Beard trimmed making him a lot younger looking by the by).

Martin McGuinness’s campaign love their dramatic music and visual effects.

Irish Election Literature Blog is again providing us with examples of Presidential Election campaign ephemera old and new – very much worth a visit.
