Regular readers know that I have lost my heart to Donegal. Wallace Media are keeping me more than entertained with their election coverage and today’s gem is this speech from Dinny McGinley TD to the Fine Gael selection convention of his county colleague Joe McHugh.

I don’t know which bit to recommend to you most, the inhaler, the comparison of a certain Dublin North TD to Noel Browne, or the ‘special’ welcome for Olywn Enright who is leaving politics at the next election and moving to Donegal.
