The Pipe, a documentary made by Risteard Ó Domhnaill on the Rossport community and the divisions brought by the installation of a pipeline by Shell and the Corrib Gas Project will get a nationwide release next month. A Gala night is being held on December 2nd in the IFI with a Q&A and further discussions will be held in the IFI following screenings on December 4th and 11th.

The film has already won a prize at the Galway Film Fleadh and been very well received in film festivals in Toronto and London. (London Film Festival Review here if you like ruining films before you see them!)
