With diagnostic services in hospitals being suspended and discussions of four month waiting lists for breast ultrasounds in the Oireachtas, it’s time to let our politicians know that we, as women voters, demand better access to breast health care, now….
…This is a website intended to help Irish women become politically active around the issues that affect them. Basically it is set-up to make it easy to take action in under 10 minutes – you can send a real life postcard or letter or sign a petition that will be taken to Dublin, all online from the comfort of sitting on your arse, wherever you are right now.
The first campaign is focused on Better Access to Breast Care, a campaign inspired by the dire treatment of the Irish woman blogger at http://avoidinglife.typepad.com/ who’s horrendous experiences with a bleeding breast and an incompetent health service are also outlined at Two Tits and a Vote.
I need to get something off my chest…

I’m going to let the very talented Sabrina Dent explain herself as what to her ambitious and stunning new initiative is all about. But click on the picture – visit the site and don’t get up off your arse (male or female!) – just click on the picture above, read and type! (Am looking forward to copious uses of all sorts of words including scandal and outrage and no more, on the radio and in the media in the coming weeks.)
