I mentioned recently the paucity of Irish MEP’s who had joined the LGBT Intergroup of the European Parliament. I’m happy to report that this week Joe Higgins (Socialist Party – Dublin) and Marian Harkins (Independent – West) have both accepted invitations to join. They join Prionsias de Rossa and Nessa Childrers. Other MEP’s have also been invited but no word on their responses.
