Other than blogging @ Maman Poulet, I’m administrator and site owner of SapphicIreland.com – Ireland’s largest forum for lesbian and bisexual women – Simon McGarr is now onto the area of forums and moderating and libel. I’ll be looking for more info after today and minding my back!

There are no women speakers at this event. We tried (very hard!) to find a woman politician who blogs but failed. We could have had women speakers but our criteria was that they must be blogging or podcasting. Word is reaching us that a woman politician who considered blogging was told by her advisors that it was not worth it. Hmm wonder what they will say in a few days time when the campaign starts. There were a few women here this morning but this afternoon the female attendance has halved.
